Creating Session Types

Service types determine the rate (if applicable to your organization) and the duration of your sessions. If the ability to create these is not present in your portal, contact your account administrator, as they may have restrictions around who can create them.

User Type this applies to:
Provider

1. Go to Settings
2. Click the Service Types tab
3. Click Add Service Type
4. Enter a description
   • ie. Therapy (30 min) or Initial Session (15 min)
   • We recommend including the duration in the title because of the way it appears in dropdowns
5. Enter rate (if the field is present for you)
6. Enter duration in minutes (When scheduling a session, this service type duration will determine the end time)
7. Decide whether or not this service type will be publicly viewable by your clients
   1. Public means a patient viewing your availability can see and select that Service type option
   2. Not Public means only you can apply that session type to the session
      • NOTE: If a patient requests a session and selects a public service type, you are able to change it to a "not public" service type upon approving the request
8. Click Save to save changes
