Organizations can use different user types to give their users the features they need and restrict the ones they don't. This article describes the standard user types VisuWell offers and the functionality of each user type.
User Types
Org Admin
- Can add/adjust users up to the org admin level
- Schedules sessions and Available Time for all users and locations in the organizations they are a member of
- Oversight into sessions conducted, reporting
- Can view session lists, edit session attendees, and resend invites to guests
- Edits organizations, users, suborgs, and locations
- Edits user information
- Adds and deactivate users
- Views/downloads Reports
Manager
- All the permissions of an "Organization Admin" role, plus:
- Sees providers' patient files
- Sees Insurance eligibility and patient insurance info (if applicable)
Scheduler
- Can view users in orgs they're associated with
- Cannot view any user info besides the info that shows on the Users List
- Can hover over Actions and View Schedule for provider, admin, patient users
- Can schedule Sessions and Available Time for all users and locations in the organizations they are a member of
- Edits Attendees for a session and can resend invites to guests
- Sees the on-demand queue and assigns sessions
- Does not view reports
- Does not edit organizations or locations
- Does not create provider or patient accounts
- Does not view patient files
Scheduling Facilitator
- All existing permissions of the “Scheduler” role, plus:
- Facilitates sessions on behalf of the patient
- Checks into any session without having to be scheduled into the session
- This is typically used to screen patients or provide technical assistance in a clinic/hospital setting before the doctor arrives. It can also be used to check in for the patient who is on-site with you.
