This article explains how to edit and view patient insurance information. This feature must be enabled for your organization for this to apply.
VisuWell allows for the collection and viewing of patient insurance info, but does not do claim submission.
Patients can view or update their own insurance information through the settings page in their account
The Manager user type is the only user type able to view or edit patient insurance information.
How to view/edit as a Manager
- Log into your account
- Click User Management
- Click Patients
- Search for and select the patient
- Click Insurance information
- View or edit insurance information as needed.
- If editing information make sure to click save at the bottom of the page
