Private Chat allows session attendees to send a private message in a group session. This is designed to help provider and admin user types manage attendees in group sessions. This feature must be enabled for your organization by VisuWell support.
Patients will not be able to send a private chat to other patients, they will only be able to send a private chat to provider or admin user types. Provider and Admin user types are able to send a private chat to anyone in the session.
- When Private Chat is enabled for your organization there will be a dropdown list of session attendees in the Chat Tab on the lefthand menu in the video session.
- To send a Private Chat, select a specific participant to direct-message from the drop down list in the chat tab.
- Each message will indicate who it is from, and whether or not is a private message or a general message to everyone
- To send a message to everyone in the session after direct-messaging a particular attendee, select “Everyone” from the same drop down list.
