This article explains how to verify that your camera and microphone are allowed in your browser for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on a desktop or laptop. For help on mobile, click here.
We recommend updating your browser to the latest version, and closing out any other browsers, tabs or applications that may be using your camera and microphone.
Google Chrome
Once you are in a session click on the video camera icon to the right of your URL bar. This will pull up a gray box. Make sure the correct camera and microphone are selected. Make sure that you allow or continue allowing the site to access your camera and microphone. If you make any changes make sure to refresh your video session page.
Firefox
To the left of your URL bar there should be a video camera icon. Click on that icon to verify that camera and microphone are allowed. If you make any changes make sure to refresh the session page.
Edge
Click on the microphone icon to the right of your URL and make sure the correct camera and microphone are selected. Clicking the lock icon to the left of the URL in the browser to verify that the camera and microphone are allowed. If you make changes make sure to refresh your the session page.
